Delete Your CarFlow Account & Data

CarFlow is developed by Luminest. This page explains how to request deletion of your CarFlow account and all associated data, or request deletion of specific data without closing your account.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: In-App Deletion
- Open the CarFlow app on your device (Android, iOS, or Windows).
- Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the navigation.
- Scroll to the Account section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation prompt and tap Confirm Delete.
- Your account will be deactivated immediately and all data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@luminest.io with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your CarFlow account.
- Your business name (if applicable).
We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
Request Partial Data Deletion (Without Deleting Your Account)
You may request deletion of specific data while keeping your CarFlow account active. To do so, email support@luminest.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and specify which data you want deleted:
- Vehicle records — specific vehicles and all associated repair tasks, photos, and cost data.
- Photos & documents — specific vehicle photos, receipt images, title photos, or uploaded documents.
- Vendor records — specific vendor profiles and associated spending history.
- Location data — GPS metadata attached to your uploaded photos.
- Analytics data — your identifiable usage events in Firebase Analytics.
We will process partial deletion requests within 30 days.
Data That Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

| Photos & documents | All vehicle photos, before/after repair images, receipt images, title photos, arbitration photos/videos, and uploaded PDFs |
| Location data | GPS coordinates embedded in photo metadata |
| Financial data | Purchase costs, repair costs, sale prices, profit calculations, receipt OCR data |
| Vendor data | Vendor profiles, contact info, spending history |
| Team data | Team membership, invite codes, role assignments |
| Device identifiers | Push notification tokens (FCM), Firebase user ID |
| Billing data | Subscription status, plan details, seat usage records |
Data That Is Retained
The following data may be retained after account deletion:
- Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics. These cannot be traced back to you.
- Crash logs: De-identified crash reports used for app stability. These do not contain personal information.
- Stripe payment records: Payment transaction history is maintained by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy and financial regulations. Luminest does not store your credit card details.
- Legal obligations: Data required to be retained by law, or to resolve an active dispute, may be kept until the obligation is fulfilled.
Retention Timeline
- Immediately: Your account is deactivated. You can no longer sign in or access the Service.
- Within 30 days: All personal and business data is permanently deleted from Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage.
- Within 90 days: Data in automated system backups is purged.
Business Owner Accounts
If you are the Owner of a CarFlow business workspace:
- Deleting your account will also delete the entire business workspace, including all vehicle, task, and vendor data.
- All team members will lose access to the workspace. Their individual CarFlow accounts remain active but unlinked.
- We strongly recommend exporting needed data (via Reports > Export as PDF/CSV) before requesting deletion.
- Active subscriptions will be cancelled automatically.
